Samuel L. Jackson narrated this incredible introduction for Chiefs-Ravens game

As if NFL fans needed more proof that the “Monday Night Football” matchup was a big one, it came with ESPN’s introduction.

Actor Samuel L. Jackson narrated a video that set the stage for the game between the Super Bowl champion Chiefs and AFC powerhouse Baltimore Ravens.

“Nothing is inevitable, but some things are meant to be because they are made to happen by men of will,” Jackson intones in the introduction. “They set a course. A collision course.

“And somewhere along the path, abilities turn into powers. Athletes become icons. Mortals become myths. Leaders on united teams. Heroes to legions of followers. It isn’t destiny but desire that brought them this far. To meet face to face. Force to force on ‘Monday Night Football.’”
