Paul Rudd, Clark Hunt will take part in pregame activities at AFC Championship Game

For the second straight year, the Chiefs are playing host to the AFC Championship Game, and once again team chairman and CEO Clark Hunt will be the drum leader.

Before Sunday’s title game against the Titans, Hunt will be on the drum deck, which is located in the upper deck below the west scoreboard. Joining Hunt will be actor and Shawnee Mission West graduate Paul Rudd, who will serve as the spirit leader. Rudd has starred in movies and televisions shows such as “Ant-Man,” “Clueless” and “Living With Yourself.”

Last week, fellow “Big Slick” host Eric Stonestreet was the spirit leader.

The Chiefs also will be distributing a commemorative 60th season Chiefs Kingdom rally towel to the first 50,000 fans (while supplies late) at the game.

Here is more game-day information.

PARKING: The cost is $50 for red parking passes, which is $10 more than in the regular season. Fans are encouraged to buy passes in advance at chiefs.com/parking. The Chiefs had this usual reminder: “Parking passes can be accessed via the Chiefs Mobile App on game day.” Fans at the tollgate without the passes on Sunday will pay $60 in cash. The gates to the Truman Sports Complex will open at 9 a.m.

TAILGATING: The Chiefs also noted: “Fans are reminded that tailgating in stadium-controlled parking lots is prohibited during the game, starting at opening kickoff. As has been the case for the past two seasons, stadium security and local law enforcement has implemented this policy for the safety and experience of fans who are attending the game.”

CONSTRUCTION: The construction project around Arrowhead Stadium is ongoing. Fans can find more information about the work at the Missouri Department of Transportation website.

NATIONAL ANTHEM: Generald Wilson, a retired Naval Petty Officer, will perform the national anthem. Representatives from the Kansas City police department and fire department will be the color guard. A special B-2 Stealth Bomber flyover will take place at the end of the anthem.

LAMAR HUNT LEGACY SEAT: For each game at Arrowhead, the Chiefs pick a person “who embodies the spirit of Lamar Hunt” and a guest to sit in the gold seats located in section 121. Paul Cherry, who was a Chiefs Red Coater for 44 years and season-ticket holder since 1967, will be in the legacy seat.
