  • Nike will release Royals City Connect Air Max 1 sneakers on June 9, 2026.
  • The shoes feature white base, blue tongue and sock line, and royal purple sole.
  • They will sell for $150 at Dick’s Sporting Goods, Royals Team Store & select retailers.

For Kansas City Royals fans who like the fuchsia, purple and blue fusion featured in the team’s latest edition of City Connect uniforms, there’s at least one more item coming down the pipeline to complete the outfit.

In addition to the City Connect jerseys and hats Royals players and fans have already been wearing, Nike is releasing City Connect-themed Air Max 1 sneakers on June 9.

Similar to the uniforms, the shoes will have a white base with a blue tongue and sock line and royal purple on the outward sole. They highlight the same nods to Kansas City history that the uniforms do: an “R” logo on the tongue to represent the franchise’s first season in 1969 and a crown as a team of regal honor.

Priced at $150, they will be available at Dick’s Sporting Goods, the Royals Team Store, and select retailers, including Nike, of course.

The shoes are currently listed on the Dick’s Sporting Goods website but can’t be preordered yet.

The Royals wear these uniforms for each Friday home game this season. Their next Friday home game is on June 12 against the Houston Astros.
