Late-night TV will be required for some Royals games this week

There will be some blurry-eyed Royals fans going to work this week.

The Royals boarded a plane Sunday and jetted to California, where they will open a three-game series Monday against the Giants.

Two of the games will be starting two hours later than the usual first pitch at Kauffman Stadium. And those two contests will be available to watch on the MLB Network — but only for out-of-market viewers.
