KC Royals announce schedule change for Saturday’s game against San Francisco Giants

The Kansas City Royals have altered their weekend schedule against the San Francisco Giants.

The Royals announced that Saturday’s game at Kauffman Stadium will be moved up to 4:10 p.m. Central due to potential inclement weather.

The game was initially scheduled for 6:10 p.m. Multiple weather forecasts, however, predict widespread rain arriving Saturday night. There is another round of potential storms that could impact Sunday’s finale as well.

All gates will open at 1 p.m. Central on Saturday. Additionally, the Royals announced that Fan Photo Day remains scheduled for Saturday. It’s tentatively set from 1:30-2:30 p.m., pending the weather.

The Royals host the Giants in their final regular-season homestand. The club will end the 2024 season with six road games against the Washington Nationals and Atlanta Braves.

KC sits at 82-71 and has a chance to reach the postseason. The Royals hold the second American League wild-card spot ahead of Friday’s game.
