Royals share special fan info after changing time of Wednesday’s game vs. Cardinals
Mother Nature must not be a fan of the I-70 Series.
Because rain is expected in Kansas City on Wednesday, the Royals changed the time of their game against the Cardinals at Kauffman Stadium to 12:10 p.m. from the scheduled 6:10 p.m. start.
That follows a rainout of the Royals’ game in St. Louis on April 13, which was moved to Monday. The start of that game Monday at Busch Stadium also was moved to an early start because of the weather.
Tuesday’s opening game of the I-70 series at Kauffman Stadium was still scheduled for a 7:10 p.m. first pitch.
The Royals announced information for fans who have tickets to Wednesday’s Cardinals game at Kauffman Stadium.
First, anyone holding a ticket can simply attend the game at its new time. But fans who wish to exchange the tickets for another game must do so before Wednesday’s game begins.
Parking passes that were purchased for Wednesday’s game will be valid for use in any game played during the 2022 season.
The Royals also shared this message on Twitter: “Fans who currently hold or purchase a ticket for tomorrow’s game by midnight will receive $10 in loaded value on their ticket, to be used at any Aramark concession stand or in the Royals Team Store.”
You can find more information at the Royals’ website.
