The Royals’ Sunday home game against the Minnesota Twins was pushed back to a 2:15 p.m. start after rainstorms hit the area on Sunday morning. The game was originally slated to begin at 1:15 p.m.

The delay came one day after the Royals postponed Saturday’s game against the Twins at Kauffman Stadium. Saturday’s rainout will be made up on Saturday, July 1, as part of a split doubleheader.
