Replay: Updates from the Royals-Indians game: Deluge forces game to be suspended

Sunday night’s game between the Royals and the Cleveland Indians was delayed in the middle of the 10th inning when heavy rain moved into the area of Kauffman Stadium. The Indians had just taken a 4-2 lead. It then was decided to suspend the game and resume play on Sept. 22.
