Another week of high school football in Kansas and Missouri has wrapped up, and it’s time for you to decide which player had the best performance in the Kansas City area.

The Star is holding a weekly poll for readers to vote on their favorite student-athlete. The poll will be posted online each Wednesday, with voting open until Thursday night, and the winner announced each Friday.

The Star asks high school football coaches around the metro for their nominations and looks at statistics posted by schools on high school sports websites like 810 Varsity and MaxPreps. Last week’s winner was Oak Grove High School sophomore Matthew Meyer.

This week’s poll features students from schools in Kansas City, Lee’s Summit and Overland Park.
