Olathe North claimed the Kansas team title in Saturday’s gymnastics state championship meet at Shawnee Mission West High School.

Eagles senior Ella Margheim won the all-around title, recording new state records in the floor exercise and balance beam and establishing a new state high-water mark for total points.

She’s just the fourth individual competitor in the history of the Kansas championships to win all four events — floor, beam, bars and vault — at the same state meet.

Olathe West finished runner-up as a team, with Shawnee Mission Northwest placing third.
