Kansas City was seeing orange Thursday as the Netherlands took on Tunisia in the World Cup.

The Dutch are one of four international teams calling the KC metro home for the duration of the international tournament. Kansas City got a taste of Holland’s fan culture starting with an Orange Fan Walk on Thursday morning.

Orange-clad fans followed the iconic Oranje Bus as they processed through downtown Kansas City from the Power & Light District to FIFA Fan Fest.

Rain began not long after Fan Fest opened and continued well into the match itself. But weather was no match for the Flying Dutchmen nor their supporters. A sea of orange filled Kansas City (Arrowhead) Stadium, punctuated by Tunisian red and white.

Netherlands defeated Tunisia 3-1 in the Group F World Cup match. The Dutch national team will advance to the Round of 32, while Tunisia’s World Cup dream has come to an end.
