FIFA World Cup

FIFA puts high-end tickets on sale for 2026 World Cup matches in Kansas City

When Chelsea won the Club World Cup on Sunday, FIFA turned its attention to the next big event it will be holding.

The 2026 World Cup.

The men’s tournament will begin on June 11, 2026 in the United States, Mexico and Canada. Six matches, including two knockout games, will be played at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium (which will be renamed Kansas City Stadium next summer).

Single-game tickets are expected to go on sale via a lottery this fall. But FIFA announced Monday it had put hospitality packages on sale now. There are three options for tickets: a single match, a match series or a “follow my team series.”

The single-match prices for games in Kansas City range from $1,350 to $2,050. The cost for a match series in Kansas City ranges from $9,375 to $21,200 for one person. Fans also can purchase tickets for two or more matches in a city.

Although we don’t know in which cities teams will play until December (other than the host nations), FIFA’s “follow my team series” includes dynamic pricing.

Want to see Albania? That’s $6,750. Plan to follow Germany? That’s $8,500. The cost for Italy is $7,200.

One caveat: Those teams still have to qualify for the 2026 World Cup. And many national teams are not part of that package, including Argentina, Brazil and the U.S.

FIFA said these hospitality packages will have premium seating and “may include an on-site concierge service, regionally inspired food and beverages, immersive experiences, special guest appearances, live entertainment, commemorative gifts and more.”

Additionally, fans who purchase these packages will have dedicated security checkpoints for stadium entry.
