Missouri defensive end Shane Ray will forgo his senior season and enter the 2015 NFL Draft, according to a report by Yahoo Sports.

A news conference originally scheduled for 4 p.m. Tuesday has been changed to Wednesday at 1 p.m. because of travel arrangements.

Ray, who set the Tigers’ single-season record with 14 1/2 sacks as a junior this season, will make “an announcement,” a team spokesman said.

Ray, a Kansas City native and Bishop Miege graduate, also finished with 22 1/2 tackles for loss, fourth most in a single season at Missouri, and is widely projected as a top-10 pick.

He ran a 4.44-second, laser-timed 40-yard dash during summer workouts, which would make him one of the fastest 3-4 rush linebackers in the NFL.
