The Missouri Tigers football team is hiring Luke Meadows as assistant offensive line coach, according to a report on Wednesday from ESPN's Pete Thamel.

Meadows spent the past two seasons as the offensive line coach at Northern Illinois.

During his two years with the Huskies, four offensive linemen were voted to an All-Mid American Conference postseason team. J. J. Lippe was voted to the All-MAC First Team in 2024 under Meadows, going on to be signed as an undrafted free agent by the Green Bay Packers

Meadows has worked under new offensive coordinator Chip Lindsey several times, most recently at Troy in 2021. Meadows was the Trojans offensive coordinator for three years, staying on the staff after Lindsey was fired during the tail end of the 2021 season.

The two previously spent time together at Southern Miss in 2014-15, with Lindsey as the offensive coordinator and Meadows as the offensive line coach. The two helped orchestrate a historic offensive season in 2015, breaking school records for completions, passing yards, total yards, touchdowns and points.

Meadows graduated from South Dakota State University in 1999, later spending 10 years as a member of the staff. He spent four years as the offensive line coach before being promoted to assistant head coach/offensive coordinator in 2006. He grew up in Hot Springs, South Dakota.

The 27-year coaching veteran will work alongside head offensive line coach Brandon Jones, who is entering his fourth year with Missouri.
