Former Lee’s Summit North, Missouri Tigers standout turns heads at NFL Scouting Combine
Armand Membou turned heads in a big way on the sprint track Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
The 6-foot-4, 332-pound Missouri Tigers offensive lineman from Lee’s Summit ran a time of 4.91 seconds in the 40-yard dash at the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine. He also had the day’s top broad jump among players in his position group.
Membou, a former high school football standout at Lee’s Summit North, could play either tackle or guard in the NFL. It is widely expected that he will be selected in the first round of next month’s draft, perhaps as early as the top 10.
Membou had a year of eligibility remaining at Mizzou but opted to begin his pro football career instead. He started 12 games at right tackle for the Tigers in 2024, earning second-team All-SEC recognition.
Here are some facts about Membou’s impressive performance on Sunday in Indy:
- He reached 20.28 mph during one of his turns in the 40. That was, per @NextGenStats, the day’s fastest speed by an offensive tackle.
- Per @NFLPlus, Membou’s 4.91 is the fastest time since 2003 by an offensive lineman standing at least 6-foot-4 and weighing at least 330 pounds.
- Membou’s other Sunday combine measurables: broad jump of 9 feet, 7 inches (ranked 1st among O-linemen); vertical jump of 34 inches (2nd among O-linemen); 10-yard split (in the 40-yard dash) of 1.74 seconds.
Still to come for Membou and other offensive linemen at the combine were the 3-cone drill, 20-yard shuttle and bench press.
Three other (now) former Mizzou players — quarterback Brady Cook and receivers Luther Burden III and Theo Wease Jr. — took part in combine drills Saturday.
