A week ago, the point guard position for Missouri men’s basketball was barren. Now there is depth.

The Tigers have received a commitment from Nick Honor, who spent the last two seasons at Clemson. Honor started 25 of 33 games last season, averaging 7.7 points and 2.4 assists and shooting 46.5% from the floor. Clemson finished 17-16.

A year earlier, the 5-foot-10 Honor averaged 8.1 points. He started his college career at Fordham and averaged 15.3 points.

Honor follows another point guard, Sean East, the nation’s top junior college player, into Dennis Gates’ program.

Missouri big man Yaya Keita has entered the transfer portal after his freshman season. Keita appeared in 21 games and averaged 1.2 points and 1.2 rebounds in 8.9 minutes.
