About Texas A&M (10-10, 4-4 SEC): The Aggies are one of the pleasant surprises of conference play after a tough nonconference. Texas A&M coach Buzz Williams has the Aggies playing hard to a 4-4 SEC record. Forward Josh Nebo has been dangerous, averaging 11.5 points and 6.9 rebounds per game. But the Aggies are coming off a road loss to Georgia as their schedule has been on the easier side. KenPom has them No. 170.

About Missouri (10-11, 2-6 SEC): The Tigers were blown out by South Carolina last game, unable to field a comeback attempt while they missed two starters. Both Jeremiah Tilmon and Mark Smith are considered “day to day,” according to MU coach Cuonzo Martin. Mizzou desperately needs both starters back as it nears the midway point of conference play. Once considered their greatest strength, the Tigers’ depth has been shot because of the injuries. KenPom ranks them No. 106.

Prediction: The last time the two teams met, Mizzou guard Torrence Watson missed a potential game-winning, buzzer-beating three-pointer. But the Tigers couldn’t contain Nebo or Savion Flagg, who scored 14 points apiece. We’ll say the Aggies pull this one off, but it also depends on if Mark Smith or Tilmon are availabile for Mizzou. Down two important starters, it’s difficult to see where the Tigers can get production from offensively.

Texas A&M 70, Missouri 65
