Standout Kansas Jayhawks lineman will return for senior season with KU football
Kansas Jayhawks offensive lineman Bryce Foster will return for his senior season, he announced via social media on Thursday.
“One more ride,” Foster tweeted on X.
Listed at 6-foot-5 and 330 pounds, Foster was an All-Big 12 second-team selection after the recently completed 2024 season. He started all 12 games and Pro Football Focus rated him as the No. 4-ranked center in the Power-four conferences.
He also will compete in the shot put this coming spring for KU’s track and field team.
Foster transferred from Texas A&M to KU before the start of the 2024 football season. The former five-star recruit (per Rivals) was a three-year starter with the Aggies. Foster earned SEC all-freshman team honors after the 2021 season.
The Katy, Texas, native chose Texas A&M over Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Florida and other programs as a high school prospect before later opting to head to Lawrence
With Foster’s return, KU is poised to bring back three offensive linemen who started games for the Jayhawks this fall: Foster, Kobe Baynes and Calvin Clements.
