Kansas football offensive tackle Logan Brown announces 2025 NFL Draft decision
Kansas offensive lineman Logan Brown has declared for the NFL Draft.
Brown announced his decision on social media on Wednesday night.
“It has been an honor to represent the University of Kansas football program these past two years. I want to thank my teammates for the memories we have made on and off the field and for competing with me day in and day out.
“I want to thank the coaching, athletic training, and support staff for allowing me to grow into the person and player I am today. I could not be more excited to declare for the 2025 NFL Draft. Forever Rock Chalk!”
The Wisconsin transfer joined the Jayhawks before the 2023 season. He played in two games before missing the rest of the season due to a leg injury.
Brown started all 12 games at right tackle for KU (5-7, 4-6 Big 12) this past season. According to Pro Football Focus, Brown was rated as the third-best tackle in the conference.
Currently, most NFL Draft experts do not include Brown in their mocks.
The Star spoke to Clint Brewster, who evaluates prospects and transfer portal talent for 247Sports, about Brown before he joined the Jayhawks.
“I think he’s got the versatility to either play left or right side,” Brewster said. “He’s certainly got NFL potential if he can tie everything together and just play more mistake-free football, play more physical up front. … If he can play up to his standards and be the player we know he can be that we saw in high school, I think that he can certainly be an NFL draft pick.
The former five-star recruit from East Kentwood High School originally picked Wisconsin over Alabama, Penn State, Michigan State and other schools.
