KU’s Devon Dotson to miss Tuesday’s game at Oklahoma, coach Bill Self says

Kansas sophomore point guard Devon Dotson will not play in Tuesday’s game against Oklahoma, coach Bill Self told The Star.

Dotson suffered a hip injury during KU’s 67-55 loss to Baylor on Saturday at Allen Fieldhouse. Self told The Star that Dotson attended the Jayhawks’ shoot-around at Lloyd Noble Center but did not participate.

Self described Dotson’s ailment on both Saturday and Monday as a “hip pointer.” Self originally said Monday that he expected Dotson to play against Oklahoma.

Dotson is KU’s leading scorer at 18 points per game.
