SIGNED WEDNESDAY

FB Ian Rudzik, Ulysses (Kan.) HS — 7:09 a.m.

Height/weight: 6-2, 225

Here’s a column on Rudzik by The Wichita Eagle’s Bob Lutz

RB Mike McCoy, Topeka HS — 7:18 a.m.

Height/weight: 6-2, 215

TE Nick Lenners, Lincoln (Neb.) Southwest HS —7:27 a.m.

Height/weight: 6-4, 235

The fourth-rated high school recruit in Nebraska should provide help for K-State at a position of need. Tight end was almost nonexistent in K-State's offense last season.

DE Bronson Massie, Lufkin (Texas) HS — 7:36 a.m.

Height/weight: 6-4, 220

DT Jordon Robertson, Bishop Dunne HS (Dallas) —7:40 a.m.

Height/weight: 6-3, 255

WR D.J. Render, North Cobb HS (Kennesaw, Ga.) — 7:45 a.m.

Height/weight: 5-11, 175

FB Mason Barta, Holton (Kan.) HS —7:59 a.m.

Height/weight: 6-2, 205

OL Blake Hickey, Godley (Texas) HS — 8:03 a.m.

Height/weight: 6-4, 260

Hickey had other Power 5 options but stayed with K-State after committing in July. He is a big, powerful offensive lineman who should compete for playing time at guard next season.

DB AJ Parker, Bartesville (Okla.) HS — 8:34 a.m.

Height/weight: 6-0, 160

TE Trace Kochevar, Salina (Kan.) South HS — 8:47 a.m.

Height/weight: 6-7, 230

DT Ray Price, Cerritos (Calif.) CC — 9:10 a.m.

Height/weight: 6-2, 290

LB Jimmy McKinney, Oologah (Okla.) HS — 9:12 a.m.

Height/weight: 6-1, 225

WR Isaiah Harris, All Saints Episcopal HS (Fort Worth, Texas) — 9:12 a.m.

Height/weight: 5-10, 165

OL Breontae Matthews, Fullerton College (Washington, D.C.)

Height/weight: 6-6, 315

A late addition to K-State’s recruiting class, Matthews could become an important player. The Wildcats need talent and depth at tackle. Matthews, a junior-college transfer, should step in and compete for playing time.

SIGNED TUESDAY

DB Cedric Dozier, California (Roanoke, Ala.)

Height/weight: 5-10, 180

Dozier, a senior to be, graduated early from Cal and will be eligible to play for the Wildcats immediately.

ENROLLED IN JANUARY

WR Corey Sutton, Mallard Creek HS (Charlotte, N.C.)

Height/weight: 6-2, 200

QB Skylar Thompson, Fort Osage HS (Independence)

Height/weight: 6-2, 193

The top recruit in K-State’s 2016 recruiting class could turn out to be the team’s future quarterback. Thompson is the lone four-star recruit in this group, and he has a championship pedigree. He led Fort Osage to a state title last season and chose the Wildcats over Colorado, Iowa State and Kansas. He will begin competing for playing time this spring as an early enrollee.

He was The Star’s All-Metro player of the year for 2015; the Missouri Gatorade player of the year; and the Simone Award winner.

OL Abdul Beecham, Blinn (Texas) CC

Height/weight: 6-3, 285

WR Byron Pringle, Butler (Kan.) CC

Height/weight: 6-2, 212

The three-star receiver has the potential to help K-State next season after the departure of Kody Cook. He has already signed with the Wildcats and will get a head start on his career during spring practice.

SIGNED IN 2015, CURRENTLY ENROLLED

LB Kyle Ball, Shawnee Mission East HS (Prairie Village)

Height/weight: 6-2, 230

TE Brett Bell, Wichita Bishop Carroll HS

Height/weight: 6-6, 225

He is the younger cousin of former Oklahoma tight end Blake Bell, the “Belldozer”

RB Tyler Burns, Wichita Trinity Academy HS

Height/weight: 5-11, 200
