Former WWE wrestler “The Undertaker” is bringing his show to KC. Here are the details
“The Deadman” is coming to Kansas City.
WWE has announced that The Undertaker’s “1 deadMAN SHOW” — featuring the famed wrestler in a more personal setting — will add six new stops to its upcoming tour, including in Kansas City on Saturday, August 26. The show will begin at 9 p.m., taking place at the Uptown Theater.
“The Undertaker,” whose real name is Mark Calaway, last appeared in Kansas City in July of 2015 during a WWE Raw show at T-Mobile Center, formerly known as Sprint Center. The night included several big-name WWE stars, including Brock Lesnar, John Cena and Randy Orton.
The Undertaker was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2022 after retiring in November of 2020. On top of his signature phrase “rest in peace,” The Undertaker is also known for his series of wins — dubbed “The Streak” — at the yearly WWE feature-show Wrestlemania. He was booked for 21 straight victories before Lesnar ended “The Streak” in 2014.
The August show will feature The Undertaker in an “intimate setting, sharing never-before-heard stories from his Hall of Fame career,” according to WWE. Additionally, he will take questions from attendees.
Since the tour debuted last summer, the show has sold out in seven locations already.
Other stops added include Louisville, St. Louis, Cleveland, Indianapolis and Pittsburgh — all scheduled for either August or November.
Tickets will go on sale beginning Friday, July 21, at 10 a.m. Exclusive pre-sale opportunities will be available starting Thursday, July 20, at 10 a.m. A limited number of VIP tickets, such as top-tier seating and a meet-and-greet with The Undertaker, will also be available.
Tickets for the Kansas City show will be available at ticketmaster.com.
