The Kansas City Comets have started their 2021-22 Major Arena Soccer League season with a 3-0 record and currently sit atop the MASL’s Central Division.

Game recap

The Comets played host to the Wichita Wings at Cable Dahmer Arena on Sunday. And the hosts won easily, beating the Wings 12-1. KC forward Rian Marques tallied four goals for the Comets.

Coming up

The Comets’ next home game at Cable Dahmer Arena is scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 29 (7 p.m.) against a longtime rival, the Milwaukee Wave.

The Comets then hit the road to take on the Wave in a New Year’s Eve match (3 p.m.) at Panther Arena in Milwaukee.

Game in downtown KC

The Comets first home game of the new year will take place at T-Mobile Center on Jan. 22 against the Tacoma Stars. The special match is scheduled in conjunction with the United Soccer Coaches Convention, which is planned for that week at Bartle Hall.
