Some sports continue to happen, like NFL free agency and esports competition.

But the fields and courts have been silent for competition. That hasn’t stopped award-winning Kansas City Star columnists Vahe Gregorian and Sam Mellinger from weighing in on COVID-19 pandemic issues.
