What’s next in the path to a new Supreme Court justice after Breyer’s retirement?

What’s the next step in the search for a new justice for the U.S. Supreme Court?

That’s the discussion topic on this edition of “4Star Politics,” the digital production of The Kansas City Star and WDAF-TV/Fox 4 Kansas City.

Hosts John Holt and Dave Helling are joined by Michele Watley, the founder of Shirley’s Kitchen Cabinet, and Stephen McAllister, a law professor at the Univeristy of Kansas, to discuss the search.

The panel discusses President Joe’s Biden’s pledge to nominate a Black woman for the post, which was created when Justice Stephen Breyer revealed plans to resign. The panel discusses the confirmation process as well.
