A new plan for downtown Kansas City: Parks, streets — and a new baseball stadium

A new 92-page report called Imagine Downtown KC takes a close look at options for the city’s core over the next decade.

This edition of “4Star Politics” takes a look at the study, and what it might mean for the community. We’ll examine the study’s plans for a new downtown baseball stadium for the Royals.

Lynn Carlton and Bill Dietrich join hosts Dave Helling and John Holt for a close look at the future of downtown, and how much it might cost the public.

The program also examines previous spending downtown, and why some work may be needed in other parts of the city.

“4Star Politics” is a joint production of The Star and WDAF-TV/Fox 4 Kansas City.
