KCK incumbent Mayor David Alvey talks Wyandotte County police, taxes before election

Unified Government Mayor and CEO David Alvey wants a second term as the top officeholder in Kansas City, Kansas, and Wyandotte County.

Alvey is in the middle of a tough campaign against Ty Garner, who is seeking the office for the first time. Garner appeared on an edition of “4Star Politics” on Oct. 13.

Alvery joins Dave Helling and John Holt this week to discuss the race and the issues facing the community, including policing, taxes and development.
