Junis has solid outing at Lexington

Third baseman Michael Antonio hit a two-run homer in the first inning Thursday and Class A Lexington beat Asheville 5-3.

Antonio went three for three and is batting .313 for the season. He also walked once. Right fielder Elier Hernandez had two hits, including a solo homer, and two RBIs.

In his eight innings of work, Jake Junis, 3-2, allowed three runs (two earned) on six hits and one walk with five strikeouts and his ERA dropped to 3.19. The right-hander has won his last two starts.
