Royals fans plan candlelight vigil at The K in memory of Yordano Ventura
Sunday has been a dark day for Royals fans.
Stunned by the death of pitcher Yordano Ventura, Royals fans are planning to gather for a candlelight vigil outside Kauffman Stadium’s Gate C.
A Royals fan to Facebook plans for the vigil, which begins at 6 p.m. and will run until 8 p.m.
The Royals are not officially sanctioning the vigil, which you can find more information about here.
Kauffman Stadium has already become a place of mourning for Royals fans and a couple of players since the news that Ventura died at age 25 after a vehicle accident.
