Multiple rounds of showers and storms were expected Sunday with a slight risk for severe thunderstorms at night.

The high temperature Sunday was forecast at 85 degrees. The low was forecast at 66.

Kansas City weather forecast Monday

The forecast for Monday morning included a potential for lingering rain shower or storm activity from Sunday night into the early morning.

Monday afternoon and evening, the forecast included a possibility of scattered showers and storms.

The potential for severe weather Monday was uncertain, the weather service said.
