Here’s the Chiefs vs. Saints weather forecast as cooler temperatures hit Kansas City
Cooler weather has moved into Kansas City, temperatures returning closer to average on Monday and making way for pleasant evening outdoor activities — like a Chiefs football game.
After a chilly start, the metro will see temperatures climb to around 73 degrees in the afternoon, just a couple of degrees higher than the typical 71 degrees this time of year.
“It’s going to feel nice outside,” the weather service said.
For football fans headed to Arrowhead Stadium to see the Kansas City Chiefs and New Orleans Saints game on Monday night, the weather should be pleasant, the weather service said.
Temperatures around the 7:15 p.m. kickoff will be in the upper 60s and are expected to fall to the low 60s by the end of the game. Winds will be light, so bring a jacket. No rain is expected.
Warmer weather ahead in Kansas City
A warming trend will begin on Tuesday and continue throughout the work week. Temperatures are forecast to be in the mid-70s on Tuesday and the low to upper 80s on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
“As of right now, the hottest day of the week is shaping up to be Friday,” the weather service said.
Much of the forecast area will experience temperatures 10 to 15 degrees above average for this time of year. The weather service said dry conditions are expected through the next seven days.
Above-normal temperatures and below-normal rainfall are likely between Oct. 14 and 20.
