Light rain Monday could continue past kickoff time for the Chiefs-Eagles Super Bowl rematch.

Throughout the day, the Kansas City area may see up to an inch of rain, according to the National Weather Service. The rainfall will shift east in the evening hours, but on-and-off showers and wind between 10 and 15 mph are possible during Monday night’s game.

Temperatures will remain steady, with a high of 45 degrees during the day and a low of 40 degrees at night.

Dry, cool weather is expected the rest of the week.

Sunny skies with highs around 46 and 50 are expected Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively, with lows around 29 and 35. Winds Tuesday could reach between 15 to 18 mph and gusts as strong as 26 mph.

Sunny conditions continue on Thanksgiving with a high near 50 and a low around 30.
