After Saturday rain, warm, dry weather expected through weekend, much of week in KC
After a week of colder than average temperatures, warmer weather is on its way to the Kansas City area.
“It’ll be much nicer to get outside than it has been the last few days, that’s for sure,” said FOX4 meteorologist Garry Frank in a weather update for The Star.
Despite a foggy start, Frank said the sun will come out on Saturday as temperatures rise to the high 70s. There is a chance for rain, he said, around 5 in the afternoon.
After Saturday, the rain chances go away for the rest of the week, Frank said.
As a result of the dry, sunny weather, temperatures will push into the high 70s and 80s sitting higher than average for this time of year.
That weather, Frank said, will likely stick around through the rest of the week.
