Kansas City will be sunny and warm Sunday: Expect more of the same through the week
Clear skies and sunshine are the name of the weather game this week in the Kansas City metro.
The temperature Sunday morning hovered in the the mid 60s, according to the National Weather Service. Some parts of the metro could see some fog early on, though it’s expected to be cleared out by mid-morning.
Sunday’s high will likely get to about 87 degrees with a slight breeze, according to the weather service.
The rest of the week looks much the same. It will stay warm and sunny, with a gentle breeze some days and less humidity than the region has dealt with lately.
Monday is looking to be the warmest day this week, with a high of 89, and Tuesday the coolest, with a high of 85, according to the weather service.
The overnight lows will hang out in the the mid-60s through the week.
“For those who want to live dangerously . . . these low temps are just begging you to open up some windows,” the weather service’s Kansas City office tweeted Sunday.
