With return of humidity, it will feel like it’s at least 100 degrees Tuesday in KC
Humidity is returning to Kansas City which will make it feel like 100 to 105 degrees Tuesday, said FOX4 meteorologist Garry Frank.
“The last couple mornings, it’s been actually pretty pleasant, between 60 and 65 degrees,” said Frank, who provided a weather update for The Star. “That’s pretty good for mid-July. We’re going to nudge that humidity up here moving forward so that’s not going to make it as cool overnight.”
The heat combined with humidity will feel like 100 to 105 degrees outside.
The best chance for rain arrives Wednesday, but Kansas City will most likely miss the bulk of it with areas further north having a better chance for some precipitation.
“It is possible we’ll see a little bit and really, that’s all we’re looking for at this point,” Frank said.
The hottest stretch of the year comes this weekend with Saturday’s high reaching 98 and Sunday’s hitting 99.
