After a stormy morning, Kansas City to see bright skies and hotter weather
After a rainy, stormy start to Thursday in Kansas City, the forecast calls for mostly bright skies and hotter weather, according to FOX4 meteorologist Karli Ritter.
“The heat and the humidity will be back late in the day as we climb back into the mid and upper 80s,” said Ritter, who provides weather updates to The Star. “It’ll feel like its in the 90s, though with the heat index rolled in.”
By 10 a.m., temperatures should reach 72 degrees. That will increase to 77 by noon and 87 by 4 p.m., according to the forecast.
The area will see its best chance of rain Friday morning, especially southwest of Kansas City.
