Hot, humid weather in forecast for Kansas City this week, with little sign of relief

The Kansas City area can expect hot and humid weather for the next several days, according to FOX4 meteorologist Garry Frank.

Temperatures will reach 89 degrees Sunday, said Frank, who provides weather updates to The Star. And it will be even hotter tomorrow,

The high temperature is expected to reach 91 on Monday and again Tuesday. On Wednesday, Kansas City may heat up to 93.

The best chance for rain storms will come Thursday, with a high of 90. Temperatures then will climb again to 93 on Friday and 94 on Saturday, Frank said.

“I do expect this hot stretch to continue, Frank said. “We’re in for a hot and humid stretch this week, and it doesn’t look like it’s going to change any time soon.”
