‘Very comfortable conditions’ Tuesday in KC as humidity moves out, cool air moves in

A bit of relief from storms, heat and humidity returns to the Kansas City metro Tuesday, said Fox 4 meteorologist Karli Ritter.

“Later on today we’re going to be dealing with very comfortable conditions,” said Ritter, who provides weather updates to The Star.

At noon, the weather is expected to be around 75 degrees, later reaching into the low 80s around 4 p.m. The overnight low will be around 60 degrees.

Temperatures Tuesday and Wednesday in Kansas City will be cooler than usual, said Fox 4 meteorologist Karli Ritter.

The cooler temperatures and low humidity will hang around through Wednesday, Ritter said.

“But after Wednesday’s forecast, the heat and the humidity return and highs are going to be back in the upper 80s,” she said. “That may fuel some additional storms as a front approaches, so we’ll keep a mention of rain in our forecast for Thursday night, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and that will coincide with the hot and humid conditions into early next week.”
