Sunny skies over Kansas City will turn to light rain and clouds by Sunday afternoon

Skies over Kansas City will be sunny for most of Saturday as the high reaches an expected 63 degrees, said FOX4 meteorologist Alex Countee.

But some clouds may roll in starting in the late afternoon.

On Sunday, more clouds and some light rain arrive.

“That’s right around noon,” said Countee, who provided a weather update for The Star.

A second round of showers arrives Monday.

“But all in all, not too bad throughout the next couple of days,” Countee said.

Next week’s highs will be in the 60s and 70s.

“We’re going to continue to stay mild, still have some shower and thunderstorm chances Wednesday and Friday, but we’re in the 70s for much of next week,” Countee said.
