Snow and rain in weather forecast for Kansas City heading into the weekend
There will be plenty of sunshine Thursday, and temperatures should reach the upper 30s, according to FOX4 Michelle Bogowith, meteorologist.
But there are chances for snow and rain in the next several days.
Expect cloudy conditions Friday as clouds roll in over night. The high temperature will be 37 degrees, according to the National Weather Service in Pleasant Hill.
A disturbance moving quickly through northern Missouri could bring light flurries and possibly snow Friday morning, said Bogowith, who provides weather updates to The Star.
“It shouldn’t cause too much trouble, really shouldn’t see much in the metro area at all,” Bogowith said.
On Saturday, there will be a bit more sunshine and the temperatures will climb into the lower 40s.
There’s a chance for widespread drizzle and rain showers in Kansas City Sunday as temperatures pop into the middle 40s.
