More snow is headed for Kansas City tomorrow. Here’s what to expect.

The Kansas City area was forecast to receive another 1 or 2 inches of snow Sunday afternoon, with more on the way Monday, according to the National Weather Service.
The latest forecast from the weather service office in Pleasant Hill called for 2.6 inches of snow in the later part of Sunday. Areas to the east, near Moberly, may see as much as 3.3 inches more. To the west, areas near Topeka may expect less — about 1.7 inches.
Overnight, small amounts of ice may accumulate in areas south of Kansas City, near Ottawa, Kansas, and Sedalia, Missouri. Ice accumulations are expected to be near one-tenth of an inch or less.
Another round of snow is in the forecast Monday, from about 5 a.m. to 7 a.m. That could leave about 1.9 inches of snow on the ground in Kansas City. Areas to the east may see as much as 2.5 inches, and areas to the west less than 2 inches.
The Kansas City region remains under a winter storm warning, after a snow storm during the day Sunday dropped more than three inches across much of the area.
