Snow for the Chiefs game? It’s looking possible

Enjoy one last day in the 50s before the cold hits, said FOX4 meteorologist Michelle Bogowith.

It’s looking like fans at the Chiefs game will see clear skies but cold temperatures for kickoff Sunday, said Bogowith, who provides weather updates to The Star.

“The snow should hold off until we get deeper into the game,” she said.

While temperatures are expected to be on the warm side during Friday afternoon, a cold front arrives Friday night. It’s possible that some areas may see a wintry mix, but that’s not expected to have much impact, she said.

“Our focus and attention is on Sunday, the second half of your Sunday into Monday, with snow chances returning, and travel impacts will be likely during that time-frame,” Bogowith said.

That snow will continue to fall, she said, and it’s likely to be snowing for your Monday morning commute.
