KC temperatures will ‘go tumbling’ into weekend; widespread snowfall expected Monday
Enjoy the warmth for the next two days, Kansas City, because it’s going to get colder soon.
The metro area will see high temperatures in the low 50s Thursday and Friday before they fall into the mid-30s over the weekend, according to FOX4 Meteorologist Michelle Bogowith.
“There could be a little light snow with maybe some raindrops mixing in as temperatures go tumbling,” said Bogowith, who provides weather updates for The Star.
Some snow could fall near the end of the Kansas City Chiefs’ game Sunday as they take on the Denver Broncos.
The region will then see “widespread snowfall” Sunday night into Monday morning, which will likely affect travel early next week, Bogowith said.
Sunshine is expected to return to the area during the middle of next week, she said.
