Kansas City’s mild weather to continue with highs in the mid-50s for most of the week

Mild temperatures are in store for most of the week with temperatures in the 50s.

“I think tomorrow the temperature should be up to around 55 degrees with quite a bit of sunshine,” said FOX4 meteorologist Joe Lauria, who provided a weather update to The Star.

That may be tempered by a breeze Tuesday afternoon.

Highs in the mid-50s will continue Wednesday and Thursday, though Lauria said a system Thursday will bring an increase in clouds.

“Odds favor right now a more southern track of any rain for that,” he said.

Friday will be chilly with a high of 41, but the temperature rebounds back into the mid-50s for the weekend.

Next Monday turns colder with a chance for snow showers.
