Flooding slows traffic after thunderstorms hit Monday morning commute in Kansas City
Flooding from storms Monday morning has closed some roads during rush hour in the Kansas City metro.
Three lanes are closed on northbound Interstate 35 past Pennway Street and the left lane is closed on southbound I-35 past 20th Street, according to KC Scout.
Another flood on eastbound Interstate 670 at Genessee Street has closed two right lanes around 9:30 a.m.
