We mapped where Trump got the most support in Missouri. How does your county compare?
As election officials continue to tally presidential votes around the country, data is emerging about where former president Donald Trump’s most ardent supporters reside.
The Trump/Vance ticket won most of Missouri’s counties by a significant margin. Unofficial results from the Missouri Secretary of State make it possible to see where support for the Republican candidates was the strongest.

The county that supported Trump by the greatest margin was rural Wright County in south-central Missouri. Wright County voters cast more than 7,800 votes for the Trump/Vance ticket, and just over 1,100 for all the other presidential tickets combined. That gave Trump more than 87% of that county’s vote.
The Republican ticket lost the hardest in St. Louis City, where it got only 16.7% of the vote. And while Trump just barely won eastern Jackson County with 51.1% of the vote, less than 21% of Kansas City Election Board voters supported him.
Overall, the Trump/Vance ticket won 58.37% of the popular vote in Missouri, earning the state’s 10 Electoral College votes. The Republican ticket received around 1.74 million Missouri votes, while the Harris/Walz ticket got around 1.19 million. Roughly 49,000 Missourians cast votes for minor parties’ presidential candidates.
