A food delivery driver forced his way inside a customer’s home to attack them, California police reported.

A resident called authorities to report a sexual assault at 5:36 p.m. Wednesday, June 18, the Eureka Police Department said in a June 19 news release.

The resident told officers that a food delivery driver arrived with an order, then forced his way into their home and sexually battered them, police said.

Officers investigated the incident and later arrested Arda Kizilay, 27, on charges of burglary and sexual battery, police said.

Eureka is about a 290-mile drive northwest from Sacramento.
