A Pennsylvania man accused of leaving a note on a woman’s door threatening to dismember her told police he’s obsessed with her and won’t stop stalking her until she’s dead, authorities said.

Dylan Bish, 19, of Koppel was charged March 14 with stalking, terroristic threats and two counts of harassment, according to a news release from the Koppel Borough Police Department. Attorney information for Bish was not available.

The woman received her first anonymous note in November with her name and a cellphone number the sender wanted her to contact, police said.

After the woman took the note to authorities, they texted the number but could not identify the owner of that line, according to police.

In February, the woman received a second, more graphic note on her door that “contained concerning desires,” including wanting to dismember her with a chainsaw, police said.

Officers opened an investigation and sent the note to the state police crime lab for forensic analysis, authorities said.

Police said the department received a text on March 10 from the phone number left on the first note. The sender said he’d “killed 20 women,” and the woman at the center of the investigation was “his next victim,” according to authorities.

The message contained other “gory details of how he wished to smash her skull and multiple other homicidal ideations,” police said. The victim was notified of the threats.

The investigation revealed the sender of the notes and text messages to be Bish, according to police.

Bish told police about his “obsession with the victim” and said “he is not going to stop his obsession until she is ‘dead’.”

He told authorities he’s studying forensic science at Salem University in West Virginia “for the sole reason” of knowing how the police and FBI operate so he will never get caught, authorities said.

“Salem University is aware of the recent arrest of a student in connection with an alleged violent crime,” a university spokesperson told McClatchy News in a statement March 17.

“The individual was very recently enrolled at Salem. While law enforcement is handling this matter, the university is committed to upholding due process while ensuring the safety and well-being of our campus community. Salem University is fully committed to partnering with law enforcement in their investigation and will cooperate as appropriate. Additionally, in accordance with our student code of conduct, we are conducting an internal review to assess any necessary actions regarding the student’s status,” the statement read.

Bish was booked at Beaver County Prison on March 14 on $1 million bail.

Koppel is about a 40-mile drive northwest from Pittsburgh.
