A Hardee’s fan favorite is getting a summery twist.

The seasonal blueberry biscuit rolled out Wednesday, May 22, at Hardee’s locations nationwide, marking its first time on menus, the Tennessee-based fast-food chain said in a news release.

The breakfast staple is “loaded with blueberry flavor” and drizzled with icing, according to a product description.

Hardee’s new blueberry biscuits are available now through Sept. 2, the fast-food chain said.

Its debut comes several months after Hardee’s brought back the seasonal cinnamon n’ raisin biscuit following a more than 20-year hiatus. The sweet treat was scrubbed from menus in 2002.

“Biscuits remain a focal point of our breakfast menu and our limited-time biscuits, including Cinnamon ‘N’ Raisin Biscuits and Heart Shaped Biscuits, answered guests’ call for an extra ‘something special’ to our menu,” Sarah Breymaier, vice president of brand marketing at Hardee’s, said in the release.

Customers can order the new blueberry biscuits as a single item, or pick up a two- or four-count pack made for sharing, the restaurant said.

The biscuits are available in-store and on the Hardee’s app until Sept. 2.
