Police investigating fatal shooting in Kansas City
Kansas City police were investigating a shooting Sunday evening that left a person dead.
The shooting occurred about 6:35 p.m. in the 6600 block of Park Avenue. The victim was rushed to the hospital where he later died.
The person’s death is the city’s 46th homicide of the year. So far in 2016, there have been 71 homicides in the Kansas City area.
